Ophthalmologist
An ophthalmologist is a medical specialty that deals with the eyes. Although their are other eye doctors and ophthalmologist can perform surgery and additional eye treatment. They also identify diseases in the eyes. They treat patients of all ages, from babies to elderly. They work in output clinics the operating theatre, laser eye surgery clinics and community clinics . There is a small amount of ophthalmologist who are trained in general medicine. They are also concerned with managing eye disorders that are related to body disorders such as diabetes etc.
Duties and Responsibilities: Practice setting and subspecialty but they share basic functions
Salary:$300,000
Education: Four years in college followed by four years in a medical school and a minimum of three years in residency, must be licensed
Demand for profession:
I don't see myself doing this type of job in the future, it isn’t something that interest me
