Thanksgiving and Thanksgiving Day
Thanksgiving and Thanksgiving Day is a public holiday on the fourth Thursday in November in the United States. Thanksgiving has been celebrated nationally on and off since 1789. It has been celebrated as a federal holiday every year since 1863, during the American Civil War. Thanksgiving is also a day for you to spend with your family and enjoy talking with them and eating the food that they have made. It is also a day to say thanks for the things you are thankful for.
