Detective
A Detective is an investigator, usually a member of law enforcement agency. Some are private, and may be known as private investigator. A detective is a licenced or unlicensed person who solves crimes. They will examine historical crimes by looking at the clues and personal records. In some police departments, a detective position is achieved by passing a written test after a person completes the requirements of being a police officer. In other police systems detectives are college graduates who join directly from civilian life without first serving as uniformed officer.
Duties and Responsibilities:Gathering facts and collecting evidence, they also respond calls, investigate suspicious activities.
