An Optometry Technician/Assistant is an medical assistant who help optometrists and opticians in vision clinics. They work in offices of optometrists and clinics. The assistants help the optometrist by conducting diagnostic tests. Their duties are to record and measure vision tests, also testing eye functions and telling patients if they will need contact lenses.
