A licensed practical nurse in much of the united states and most Canadian provinces is a nurse who cares for the people who are sick, injured, convalescent, or disabled. LPNs work under the direction of registered nurses or physicians. LPNs measure and record patient's vital signs such as weight, height, temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and respiratory rate. As a part of work LPNs collect samples for testing. LPNs also monitor their patients and report adverse reactions to medications or treatment. They may use this information to complete insurance forms, pre-authorizations, and referrals , and they share information with registered nurses and doctors to help determine the best course of care for a patient. LPNs often teach family members how to care for a relative or teach patients about good health habits.

Duties and Responsibilities: Their duties are to plan and manage patients care according to each patient's vital. Their responsibilities are to escort patients to rooms.

My Reflection: This career isn’t interesting to me, it isn't something i would like to work as.
