Medical Assistant
A Medical Assistant is an allied health professional that supports the work of physicians and other health professions usually in clinic setting. Medical assistance can become certified through an accredited program usually offered through a junior or community college. They perform tasks and procedures such as measuring patients vital signs, injections, recording information in medical systems. The term medical assistant may have legal status in jurisdictions where they can be certified or registered. Medical assistants perform routine clinic and administration duties under the direct supervision of a physician or other health care professional.  

Duties and Responsibilities: Their duties are to answer phone calls, greeting patients. Their responsibilities are filing patients medical records and scheduling appointments.
